Thank you for your interest in my page.

I started out carving in a camp chair on my back porch one Spring in 2021 after quitting a career in the legal field.

My dad was a carpenter when I was young, and the smell of sawdust still brings me to a peaceful place that's hard to describe.

I love the natural and complex beauty of wood, and I try to honor that as I attempt to fashion it into works of art.

I work with both power and hand tools, and I have worked with a variety of mostly hardwoods, with Paduk coming out as one of my favorites because of the grain structure, the incredible color, and the lesser known attribute; the wonderful fragrance it gives as it is cut.

I am fortunate to live in a beautiful countryside with my husband and our two pups in Maryland, U.S.A
